Lilac is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Professional Content & Scriptwriter specializing in Investment and Trading content. The ideal candidate will craft compelling, educational, and market-savvy scripts for video content, webinars, podcasts, social media reels, and other digital media formats. This role demands a deep understanding of global financial markets, trading strategies, and investment principles, combined with exceptional storytelling and scriptwriting capabilities.
Content Creation & Scriptwriting
- Write professional, engaging, and accurate scripts for YouTube videos, Instagram Reels, TikTok content, webinars, and educational courses focused on investment and trading topics.
- Develop scripts that simplify complex financial concepts (Forex, stocks, crypto, commodities, indices, technical analysis, fundamental analysis) into digestible and captivating content for diverse audiences.
- Create compelling hooks, intros, CTAs, and narrative arcs that maximize viewer retention and engagement.
- Write scripts for various formats including explainers, market analysis breakdowns, trading tutorials, motivational investment content, and trending financial news coverage.
Research & Market Awareness
- Stay current with global financial news, market trends, economic indicators, and regulatory developments.
- Conduct thorough research to ensure all scripts are factually accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with industry standards.
- Monitor competitor content strategies and identify opportunities for differentiation and innovation.
- Analyze audience engagement metrics to optimize script performance and content direction.
Collaboration & Communication
- Experience in writing online content
- Ensure consistency in tone, messaging, and terminology across all platforms and content types.
- Adapt writing style to suit different platforms (long-form YouTube vs. short-form Reels/TikTok) while maintaining brand integrity.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas for content strategy.
- Accept and incorporate feedback from stakeholders with professionalism and agility.
- Provide script revisions promptly within agreed-upon timelines.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3–5 years of professional scriptwriting experience, with a strong portfolio in financial/investment/ trading content.
- Proven experience writing scripts for social media platforms (Instagram is the most important), or financial education companies with measurable engagement results.
- Demonstrated understanding of trading platforms, charting tools, and financial instruments.
- Proficiency in scriptwriting formats and storytelling frameworks (e.g., AIDA, PAS, Hero’s Journey adapted for educational content).
- Familiarity with video production workflows and content management systems.
- Knowledge of audience psychology, retention techniques, and platform-specific algorithms (Instagram's algorithm is the most important),
- Bilingual proficiency (English and Arabic) is a significant advantage.
- Experience with AI-assisted writing tools and content optimization platforms.
- Personal trading or investment experience with verifiable track record.
- Experience working with MENA-region audiences and understanding of regional financial markets.
